Join the Albuquerque International Sunport Ambassadors Program. Ambassadors welcome travelers of the world as they arrive in New Mexico's most dynamic transportation center. Ambassador responsibilities vary with the needs of each traveler they meet--welcoming smiles and warm welcomes are needed for all, but travelers may also need directions to flight gates, bag claim, rental car and hotel shuttles, or other airport facilities.
Animal ambassadors are also welcome! Our Sunport Ambassadors often work alongside their 4-legged companions as a team to spread happiness and cheer to our travelers. Our animal ambassadors must be registered as service or therapy dogs, to ensure they can maintain an appropriate demeanor onsite.
Ambassador Volunteer Requirements

- Ability to assist/direct others
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Local familiarity appreciated
Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- Light roaming required for the duration of the shift in a dynamic, spacious environment
