Who We Are
The Albuquerque International Sunport is the primary airport serving the City of Albuquerque. Every year the Sunport welcomes over 5 million travelers from the farthest reaches of the United States and connecting International Flights. It acts as the gateway to the diverse southwestern cultures, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes. All factors that make New Mexico the Land of Enchantment a unique destination experience.
What We Do
Albuquerque Sunport Ambassadors Program (ASAP)
Volunteers act on the behalf of the entire Albuquerque community as the first point of contact for all travelers visiting our City. ASAP volunteers provide a range of services, from providing local suggestions to travelers who may be looking for a good recommendation to providing emotional support and comfort to weary travelers. These volunteer positions are flexible and can work with any schedule.
ASAP is an inclusive volunteer opportunity for humans and animals alike! If your registered therapy animal loves people, loves receiving attention, and wants to brighten the day of travelers, we have a place for them to volunteer with Aviation as well.
