Description

This unpaid opportunity is for college students interested in planning, architecture, design, community engagement, geography, GIS, public service/local government, public health, or related topics. Work is primarily indoors in an office setting. Community engagement events may be outdoors or in community facilities.

Current project work includes:

  • working with the Mid Range Planning Team to co-develop a Youth City Leaders Academy curriculum;
  • contributing to ArcGIS StoryMaps on related planning topics;
  • planning clerical work;
  • participation in related trainings;
  • observing various planning boards or commissions;
  • job shadowing as interested.
