This unpaid opportunity is for high school juniors and seniors interested in planning, architecture, design, community engagement, public service/local government, or related topics. Work is primarily indoors in an office setting. Community engagement events may be outdoors or in community facilities.
Current project work includes:
- working with the Mid Range Planning Team to co-develop a Youth City Leaders Academy curriculum;
- light to moderate clerical work;
- participation in related trainings;
- observing various planning boards or commissions;
- job shadowing as interested.
