CPA Volunteer - Treasurer Assistant

The New Mexico Cheese Guild, a non-profit supporting local cheesemakers, seeks a volunteer Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to assist our Treasurer. In this role, you'll provide valuable financial expertise to help us manage our resources effectively and ensure our long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Provide guidance on budgeting and financial planning.
• Support the Treasurer in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Offer expertise on tax compliance and regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license.
• Experience with non-profit accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to supporting the New Mexico cheesemaking community.
