The New Mexico Cheese Guild, a non-profit supporting local cheesemakers, seeks a volunteer Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to assist our Treasurer. In this role, you'll provide valuable financial expertise to help us manage our resources effectively and ensure our long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
- Provide guidance on budgeting and financial planning.
- Support the Treasurer in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Offer expertise on tax compliance and regulatory matters.
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license.
- Experience with non-profit accounting is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to supporting the New Mexico cheesemaking community.
