*This opportunity will require a CYFD background check to be completed. This will cost $60, but S.A.F.E. House will reimburse you after you have completed at least 16 hours of volunteer work if you choose.

Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children affected by domestic violence? Join us at S.A.F.E House and help create a safe, nurturing environment for children in need. We are looking for volunteers to put on regular activities for our residents and their children.
Possibilities of what you can do for our residents:
- Arts and Crafts: Facilitate creative workshops that allow children to express themselves and have fun.
- Homework Help: Assist with educational needs and provide a safe space for learning.
- Recreational Activities: Organize games and outdoor activities that foster teamwork and joy.
- Life Skills Training: Teach essential skills that promote independence and self-esteem.
- Holiday Celebrations: Organize holiday events, providing meals, gifts, and festive activities to foster joy and community.
- Create a Community Garden: Involve children in planting and caring for a garden, which can teach responsibility and provide a sense of accomplishment.
- Sports Clinics: Offer basic training in various sports, promoting physical health and teamwork.
- Music and Dance Sessions: Host workshops where children can learn instruments or participate in dance classes, encouraging self-expression.
- Outdoor Activities: Plan fun outdoor games, sports, or nature walks. Activities like scavenger hunts can be exciting and promote teamwork.
- Any ideas you may have for our residents!
Who We’re Looking For:
- Compassionate individuals who are patient, understanding, and passionate about helping children.
- No specific experience is required—just a desire to make a difference!
Commitment:
- Flexible schedules available. Whether you can commit a few hours a week or do a monthly event, your time is valuable!
