Get ready to be a part of something truly spectacular! The City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with Imagine ABQ, proudly present the Fiesta Fanatics Cleanup Event. This exciting community-driven event takes place one week ahead of the 53rd annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta as we prepare to celebrate together during the best time of year in Albuquerque.
Join us in our efforts by organizing a cleanup in your neighborhood. The Solid Waste Management Department will provide supplies and pickup for cleanups scheduled anywhere in the city. Our goal is to make our beautiful communities shine as we get ready for our favorite time of year, the world-renowned Balloon Fiesta, and we need your help to make it happen!
Supplies include:
- Garbage bags
- Litter pickers
- Gloves
- Safety vests
Pickups for the event will be scheduled for one central location per neighborhood cleanup. All bags will be transported for disposal by members of the Solid Waste Management Department Clean Cities division.
