Garden work for the Rio Grande Food Bank! Produce from the garden feeds those in need.
There are lots of prickly weeds, so if volunteers have gloves to bring please do, or let us know if you need any. Please also bring sunblock and/or long sleeve shirts and big hats. Closed toe shoes or sneakers would be best. We have tools but people are always welcome to bring their own. Pitchforks work great in the mulch.

From the I-40, head south on Coors and turn left on Daytona (1 block after Fortuna). Just past the church and Food Project on your left there is a driveway into the dirt lot behind the Food Project. Follow the sunflowers to the garden!
