Join Us for Local Listening Sessions to Inform the Local Use of Opioid Settlement Fund Use and Allocation
Please join us and participate in a town hall forum for residents to direct and inform the use of these funds in their community. The goals of the sessions include:
- Gather community input, opinions, and ideas on how drug use and current responses to drug use, including programs, can be impr0oved.
- Foster community engagement, build relationships, and learn from each other about the different ways communities, individuals, and families are affected by the overdose crisis.
- Ensure that community members are part of the planning process to inform the development of a city and county strategic plan ot reduce overdoses equitably and sustainably.
- Create a report that summarizes the key themes from community feedback that can be shared with city and county leadership.
These town halls will be held in collaboration with the County Commissioners
This meeting will be hosted by County Commissioner Adriann Barboa (District 3).
