Join us on the green to help survivors of domestic violence find safety, support, and hope. The annual ABQ Tech Ops Golf Tournament, proudly sponsored by Southwest Airlines, benefits S.A.F.E. House — New Mexico’s largest shelter for survivors. Your time and energy as a volunteer will make this event a success and directly impact lives in our community.
Volunteer Event Details – Tuesday, June 3rd
TUESDAY, JUNE 3rd – TOURNAMENT DAY
Volunteer Shifts:

AM Shift

Check-in: 5:45 AM at the clubhouse

Be at your hole: 6:00 AM (Tee Time)

Shift ends: Around 12:00 PM

PM Shift
-
Check-in: 12:00 PM at the clubhouse

Be at your hole: 12:30 PM (Tee Time)

Shift ends: Around 6:00 PM (may run slightly later)

Note: You may be asked to close the fundraising activity at your hole before all golfers finish.

Clubhouse (Sandia Clubhouse Grille)
What to Wear:

A shirt representing S.A.F.E. House. (Purple, Domestic Violence, or S.A.F.E. House Gear)

Golf-appropriate bottoms (shorts, pants, or skirt)

Jean shorts are allowed, but we recommend dressing as cool and comfortable as possible—it will be hot!
What to Bring:

Water bottle or thermos (cold bottled water will also be available)

Portable speaker (optional)

Phone charger

Hat for sun protection

Snacks or meals (if you prefer something other than what's provided)
What We Provide:

Golf cart (if your hole is far from the clubhouse/restrooms)

Breakfast and lunch (typically burritos in the morning and burgers or sandwiches for lunch)

Tent for shade

2 Chairs

Table and small cooler for drinks

Bottled water

All materials needed for your specific hole (provided at check-in)
