This position is reserved for more experienced Balloon Museum Volunteers who know the museum well and have handled responsibility at the museum in the past.
Shift Support volunteers circulate throughout the Museum as the main point of contact and support for all volunteers on that shift. They check in with volunteers, fill in as needed for short breaks, and serve as liaison between the volunteers and the Manager on Duty to help troubleshoot any issues that arise in the Balloon Museum during the shift. Shift Support may also be asked to oversee volunteer check-in/outs for their shift.
Considerations: This position involves continuous walking around both inside and outside the Balloon Museum and entails a level of responsibility beyond other volunteer positions.

Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteer Position
General Volunteer Information: Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteers are required to sign up for and volunteer for a minimum of 12 hours during the 2023 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta from Saturday, October 7th, 2023, to Sunday, October 15th, 2023. Those who sign up for and volunteer 12 hours will receive the following:
- Balloon Museum T-Shirt
- Parking Pass: Allows you to park at the Balloon Museum during your volunteer shifts
- Food Voucher (OR) snacks will be provided during your shift
- 2023 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta General Admission Ticket
