Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteer Position
General Volunteer Information: Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteers are required to volunteer for at least three 4-hour shifts from Saturday, October 5th through Sunday, October 13th.
Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteers who sign up for and complete 12 hours will receive great perks, including the following:
- (1) Balloon Museum Volunteer Badge
- (1) Balloon Museum Fiesta T-Shirt
- (1) Parking Pass: Allows you to park during your volunteer shifts
- (1) Food Voucher (OR) snacks provided during your shift
- (1) 2024 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta General Admission Ticket

REQUIRED TRAINING FOR RC BALLOON CREW SUPPORT

10:30am at the Balloon Museum

*If you are ONLY volunteering for RC Balloon Crew Support, this is the only Training you need to attend. If you are volunteering for any other role during Fiesta, you must attend this training AND the 2024 Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteer Training.

RC Balloon Crew Support
Anyone interested in learning more about Radio Controlled (RC) Balloons is invited to volunteer for this position. The RC Balloon Crew will fly 4 times during Balloon Fiesta (3 mornings and 1 evening). Volunteers will get first-hand experience with how RC Balloons fly as they help with setting up, tethering, packing up, reading the weather, and crowd control.
All RC Balloon Crew Support Volunteers are required to attend the mandatory RC Balloon Crew Support Training listed below. The training will consist of an overview of what RC Ballooning is all about, safety tips, and how you can be of help.
Continuous standing, walking and bending required in outdoor setting.
