This tree planting is organized by Tree New Mexico (TNM) in the ABQ Tuscany neighborhood (west side) on April 27, 2024. Volunteers plant trees with trained Team Leaders. TNM provides instructions, tools, maps to the tree planting location, and basic tree planting guidance. At each location, the hole will be pre-dug, the tree to be planted and mulch is present, and the resident provides a hose and water.
Please bring water, a hat, sunscreen, and wear closed toe shoes. Please wear your green TNM T-shirt if you have one. We will have some at the Welcome Table, while supplies last.
We will email the location and specific time to meet for sign-in two weeks before the event. This helps us communicate more effectively and limit last minute changes and communication difficulties.
Children 11-years-old and older are welcome to plant with their parent or guardian. Children 15-years-old and older can plant as adults.
