The American Cancer Society hasa super last-minute volunteer opportunity that we just became aware of (some of our volunteers got sick), but we have a party tomorrow at the Salt Yard West called “Meet the Heatmakers” and we need about 5-7 volunteers for really easy, event-related jobs. For example, we need volunteers to help ensure people take just one party favor and not 4, and stuff like that. We’ll have food from Whole Hog, M’Tuccis, and drinks available to the volunteers as well.
Volunteer Opportunity:
- Fork Cancer – Meet the Heatmakers Party
- Location: The Salt Yard West
- Volunteer hours: 5-8 p.m.
- Event hours: 6-8 p.m.
- Dress code: classy casual to cocktail attire
- Number of volunteers needed: 5-7
- Job duties: helping people scan QR codes, making sure people don’t steal extra party favors, helping take pictures (if requested) at the big “Heatmakers” sign on site.
