ABQ Artwalk- Art Stop Market

Volunteers needed!!!

The Art Stop Market is the outdoor market associated with ABQ Artwalk. It's is a local art market with local artists, food vendors and music. The market is located at 715 Gold Ave SW in a gravel lot behind Damacisos restaurant. 

The Albuquerque Artwalk is a monthly event that organizes micro-events at brick and mortar business and arts organizations in Downtown Albuquerque. A map provides guidance to each programmed location and provides an organized way for residents and visitors alike to explore Downtown Albuquerque.

We are looking for volunteers to help with setting up and taking down the event. We need two volunteers for a set up shift from 3-5pm and two volunteers for the take down shift from 8-9pm or 9pm to 10pm (during June, July and August the Art Stop Market will operate from 5-9 pm). 

Set up would include the following: 

• Meet the event manager at the storage unit to help transport event equipment such as the generator, pop up tent, fire extinguisher holders, fire extinguishers, signs, cones, and etc. 
• Drive to Art Stop Market to set up event equipment before the market begins. 

Take down would include the following:

• Meet the event manager at the Art Stop Market to help take down and collect event equipment such as generator, pop up tent, fire extinguisher holders, fire extinguishers and other event equipment. 
• Help unload all the event equipment back into the storage unit. 

Requirements:

• Willingness to use personal vehicle to help transport items to the location 
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
