We are excited to be launching Community Block Parties across Albuquerque running Saturday's from 12pm-3pm between October-March. The purpose of the block parties is to flood our communities with resources & services specific to the needs in a particular neighborhood.
This will be a community & CABQ cross departmental collaboration as we need all hands on deck to combat the issues plaguing our beloved city.
We are looking for compassionate friendly volunteers who understand how to be in space with community.
Tasks include any of the following:
- Emergency Rental Application Help
- Youth Activities
- Set up and Tear Down
- Helping attendees find the resources they need
- COVID safety- handing out masks, hand sanitizer, directing people to COVID Vaccine area, etc.
