The Open Space Division invites you to a day of service to help protect and nurture the bosque and river. The tasks will include trail work, revegetation, and trash clean-up. We will be working at Five different locations around the city and need 20 volunteers per area.
Volunteers should dress for the outdoors, bring sunscreeen, expect to stand and walk for long periods, and bring water. This posting is for the following location:
Rio Bravo Riverside Picnic Area – Parking available at the northeast corner of the Rio Bravo Bridge, take Rio Bravo to Poco Loco, follow Poco Loco to the parking area. Meet Open Space staff in the parking area.
