The City of Albuquerque has doubled the number of FREE Wi-Fi Hotspots in the City during the pandemic.
We want to make sure the community knows about these Hotspots in case their home Wi-Fi is not working properly or if they need access while outside their home.
Currently the list of WiFi Hotspots is at: https://www.cabq.gov/coronavirus-information/wifi
We are looking for 6 volunteers that can visit 20 businesses (next to the Wi-Fi locations) to post flyers in those businesses and distribute materials about other community services. This is with the permission of the business owners of course.
Use of masks and following COVID-19 protocol is essential.
Training will be provided same-day (the first half hour, 10 am-10:30 am).
