Greetings Community Caretakers!
Metro Rotary Club is going to be doing a clean up along the bike path next Saturday and would like you all to join us. We did this in the same location 5 years ago and are going to return to the scene of the crime – see photos below.
We’ll be there from 7a-11a so please join for a short period or start to finish if you like. Invite your friends so we can finish early!
Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Some will be bring their own “grabbers” as well.
The area of clean up is the ditch along the bike path that runs parallel to I40 on the south side of the highway, west of Rio Grande Blvd. and east of Gabaldon Dr NW. There are large cottonwoods overhead so we’ll be shaded.
Please park on Gabaldon Dr. NW at I 40 under the overpass, next to bike path. The blue pin on my map is where we’ll park.
