Step up in neighborhoods across Albuquerque to connect residents with housing and employment resources or speak up and have your voice heard in our Community Planning Area Assessment input process.

These volunteer opportunities offer excellent opportunities to support meaningful municipal engagement with our diverse neighborhoods across Albuquerque. Help connect residents to resources they need or be an ambassador for the city to help facilitate public input from specific neighborhoods in Albuquerque.

Description

We welcome volunteers who can visit our Book Room at 601 Yale SE, in the CABQ Yale Transit Facility at pre-arranged times to unpack boxes of incoming (gently used) books. Books are quickly assessed for suitability and sorted by grade/reading level. We offer a pleasant, productive, and stress-free atmosphere!

Our regular shift is on Fridays from 9.30 a.m. until Noon.
