Warehouse 505 is seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of our organization.
As a board member, you will play a vital role in supporting Warehouse 505's mission of providing free, year-round programs and safe spaces for all Central New Mexico youth through arts, education, entrepreneurship, and career development.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have an understanding of Warehouse 505's youth programs and mission, and are committed to learning about our work.
- Have knowledge of nonprofit governance and the responsibilities of serving on a nonprofit board.
- Are excited to serve as ambassadors for Warehouse 505 within the community.
- Can actively participate in regular monthly board meetings, commission meetings, and organizational planning.
- Are willing to contribute their time, professional expertise, networks, and community connections to strengthen our programs and expand our impact.
- Can attend and support our seven end-of-semester youth showcases each year.
- Are interested in helping develop new partnerships and attract program sponsors and community supporters.
- Are passionate about creating free, inclusive, and safe spaces where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.
Volunteer Role: Board Member
Skills & Experience: Nonprofit leadership or governance, community engagement, fundraising, business, education, finance, legal, marketing, youth development, or other professional expertise that can benefit the organization.
Time Commitment: Approximately 4–8 hours per month, including regular board meetings, committee work, community outreach, and attendance at youth showcases and special events.
Location: Board meetings and events are primarily held in person at Warehouse 505 in Albuquerque, with some virtual participation available as appropriate.
