Description

Warehouse 505 is a 501c3 nonprofit providing free, year round afterschool programs for youth, ages 13-20. We focus on creative arts and crafts, music, and youth entrepreneurship.

We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer to volunteer their skills in helping us secure funding to expand free programs for New Mexico youth.

We are looking for someone with experience in grant research, proposal writing, foundation and corporate funding, and nonprofit storytelling who can help identify funding opportunities, prepare compelling grant applications, and strengthen our long-term sustainability. Experience with RFPs, LOIs, as well as governmental and private grant writing preferred.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled writer who wants to use their expertise to support a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering New Mexico youth through arts, education, entrepreneurship, and career development.

  • Volunteer Role: Grant Writer Skills Needed: Grant writing, grant research, nonprofit writing, proposal development, budgeting (helpful but not required), strong written communication, attention to detail.
  • Time Commitment: Flexible based on availability and grant deadlines.
  • Location: Can be completed in person at Warehouse 505 or remotely depending on the volunteer's preference and project needs.
