Do you enjoy writing, research, storytelling, and helping others?

NAMI Albuquerque is seeking Volunteer Grant Writers to help expand mental health education, support programs, advocacy efforts, and community outreach throughout New Mexico.

As a Volunteer Grant Writer, you will work alongside our Grant Writing Team to research funding opportunities, gather information, help answer grant questions, and assist with developing proposals that support NAMI Albuquerque's mission.

Grant writing is more than seeking funding. It is helping tell the story of our community, our programs, and the individuals and families we serve. Your efforts can help connect NAMI Albuquerque with organizations that want to invest in mental health services and community support.

Responsibilities

• Research grant opportunities

• Assist with writing and editing grant proposals

• Gather program information and community impact data

• Review grant requirements and application questions

• Help communicate the impact of NAMI Albuquerque programs
