Cuidando Los Niños is seeking caring and dependable Garden Volunteers to help maintain and grow our preschool garden spaces.
Volunteers will work alongside staff and children to create a safe, engaging, and educational outdoor environment where young children can explore nature, learn about plants, and enjoy hands-on gardening activities.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assist with planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and seasonal garden upkeep Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming outdoor learning spaces
- Support simple gardening activities with preschool-aged children Prepare garden beds, organize supplies, and assist with outdoor projects

Encourage curiosity, creativity, and positive interactions with children in the garden
Help care for outdoor furniture, tools, and shared garden materials
Qualifications:
- Must pass ECECD Background Check & Fingerprinting
- Enjoy working outdoors and around young children
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Ability to perform light physical activity such as bending, lifting, and watering plants
- Time Commitment: Every other weekday (MWF) 9am-10am volunteer opportunity available. (Seasonal- June to September)
