Parkland Village presents it’s first annual Senior Health Fair! The Fair will be held at the Gateway Center on June 3, 2026, from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.
Volunteers are needed from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and can choose from the morning shift, 8.00 am to 12.00 pm, or the afternoon shift from 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm, or the full day. Refreshment Table volunteers hours are from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Coffee and a light breakfast and lunch will be available for all volunteers and guests.
Total Volunteers Needed: 25-30
Parking Lot Attendants (2 morning / 2 afternoon): stationed outside, directing guests to available spaces, assisting disabled guests, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the parking lots. Since the event will be held in June, please be aware of your ability to work in the heat and prepare appropriately.
Greeter (3 morning / 3 afternoon): stationed
at the front entrance to welcome and assist all guests, including disabled
guests, with exiting and entering shuttles, directing guests to the Information
& Registration desk.
Info/Registration (3 morning / 3 afternoon): stationed at the front
desk to provide information, register guests and hand out name badges.
Runners (4 morning / 4 afternoon): stationed near the front desk to
direct and escort guests, including disabled guests, to bathrooms,
presentations, community partner tables, food area, and clinical screenings. To
assist the volunteer coordinator as needed.
Refreshment Table Attendants (2): assisting guests in food area,
making sure food is not taken from food area (very strict adherence) and
making sure that guests and volunteers don’t take more than one meal.
