As a Tear Down Crew volunteer, you will play a critical role in closing out the event and restoring the space for the community. Responsibilities include picking up trash, folding and stacking tables and chairs, relocating full trash bins, and assisting with heavier lifting as needed. Your efforts will help ensure the park is returned to a clean, safe and welcoming condition.
This is a very important role that requires teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Volunteers should be prepared for physical activity, including lifting and carrying items, and working efficiently to wrap up the event.
Please be prepared to work outdoors in warm or hot weather conditions. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a hat, umbrella, water, sunblock, and light layers or coverage in case of inclement weather. Comfortable footwear is recommended as you will be on your feet for extended periods.
