The Event: Balloon Museum activity table at the Nuclear Museum's Discover STEAM Day, Saturday, February 28th, 2026.
The Activity: Share the wonder of lighter-than-air flight as we help visitors launch their own hot air "balloons" using trash bags & hair dryers.
The event has been heavily attended in the past by curious kids and adults. Join us in sharing the principles of buoyancy!
Logistics: Our table will be indoors. The activity will involve standing and bending, but no heavy lifting. The event runs from 10-3. Partial shifts are available, including set up and take down.
