We will meet at Wilson Middle School. This is to help with the setup and registration!
Goal: Spark connection through service. More details will be sent to volunteers who register. We will have alley way clean up, potentially spreading mulch and an alley way mural activation.
Activity: Neighborhood beautification in identified alley ways that support the APS Walking School Bus program for Wilson and Whittier students. The Albuquerque Citizens Council is excited to invite you to join us for Civic Saturday, January 17, 2026, a morning gathering focused on storytelling, creativity, and community connection, followed by a community beautification project where we’ll come together to care for our shared spaces.
We also welcome you to join us for Civic Saturday. We will bring together neighbors, students, community leaders, and local partners to reflect on what it means to show up for one another and our city through short civic talks, creative activities, and small group conversations. Afterward, we will do the community clean-up and beautification effort.
