Thanksgiving @ Gateway Recovery

Description

Gateway Recovery is one of the City’s newest programs to help people experiencing homelessness and substance use disorder.

There are dozens of clients living in a micro-community that provides onsite behavioral health treatment, case management, and housing navigation.

If you are willing to spend some time with us this holiday season, we could use your help serving Thanksgiving dinner. Please, click ‘Respond’ to sign up for a shift that works for you.

3:00 - 5:00pm – Setup tables, chairs, utensils, and most importantly, pies!

4:00 - 6:00pm – Volunteers with aprons, gloves, and hairnets may help serve a buffet style dinner.

5:00 – 7:00pm – Time to box leftovers for clients, clean up tables, and take out the trash.

Together, we can make this a special time of warmth, comfort, and community for clients in our care.

Thank you!
