S.A.F.E. House is proud to present
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
We are excited to invite you to participate in the S.A.F.E. House Gala, our biggest fundraising event of the year! Your help is crucial in making this evening a success, and we appreciate your time and dedication to supporting survivors of intimate partner domestic violence. Several volunteer opportunities are available before, during, and after the event. We need volunteers to check in guests, check out guests who won raffles, and clean up after the event.
Event Date: Saturday, October 18th
Event Location: The First Turn Lounge @ The Downs at Albuquerque (Enter through the doors on the west side of the casino) 145 Louisiana Blvd. NE ~ Albuquerque, NM 87108
Volunteer Shifts Available:
9:30 am - 12:30 pm (approximate) — (Up to 8 volunteers)- Help set up the event space for our annual gala. This will include transporting boxes, artwork, and other event supplies from vehicles into the meeting room from the parking lot, helping to decorate the event space, and helping to set up the silent auction. (Some creativity is needed for those assisting with the auction area set-up.)
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm (approximate) — (3 volunteers) - Help with registration check-in as guests arrive at the venue, supervise the silent auction area during the event, and assist with the silent-auction check-out process at the end of the event. Volunteers will need to be dressed in cocktail party attire during this time.
