Position Information: Elevation Station Hosts create an engaging and welcoming environment for children and adults in our interactive exhibit room. They encourage healthy participation by modeling interactive game play on the touch table, on the projection walls, and at the wind tunnels. Hosts monitor the capacity in the exhibit, keep the space tidy, replenish materials, clean high-touch surface areas, and coordinate with Museum staff to troubleshoot technical issues in the exhibit, if needed.
This position also includes orienting and overseeing visitors to the adjacent Anderson Theater. Ushers welcome visitors, alert them to show times at the theater, help them find seats, and answer questions. They support the function and experience of the theater in any way possible.
Considerations: This position involves continuous standing, walking, and bending required inside of the museum at the Elevation Station exhibit.
Be sure to sign up for the 2025 Balloon Museum Fiesta Volunteer Training on either Monday, September 23rd at 10:00 am OR Sunday, September 28th at 2:30 pm
