Description

In celebration of Earth Day, the City of Albuquerque’s Solid Waste Management Department and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful are hosting a Free E-Waste Dropoff Event to help residents dispose of their old and unwanted electronics safely and responsibly. On Tuesday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Albuquerque residents can drive up to the Eagle Rock Convenience Center drop-off site, where Solid Waste Management employees will unload their items for them—making disposal easy and convenient. This event provides the community a free, environmentally friendly way to recycle e-waste, keeping harmful materials out of landfills and protecting our local environment.

E-waste, such as old computers, televisions, printers, and cell phones, contains hazardous materials that can contaminate soil and water if not handled properly. By participating in this event, residents can ensure their electronics are disposed of in a way that allows for safe recycling and reuse. This Earth Day, do your part to keep Albuquerque clean and sustainable—gather your unwanted electronics and take advantage of this free drop-off opportunity!
