The Department of Senior Affairs (DSA), in partnership with Animal Welfare, is seeking volunteers to assist with our Pets & Elderly Together Succeed (PETS) initiative.
The Animal Welfare Department organizes packets of pet food on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 am -12 pm, for homebound seniors' pets and we could use your help.
Volunteers may assist with:
- Organizing pet food
- Packaging pet food into boxes
Physical requirement
- Ability to lift pet food boxes
