Interim HealthCare invites VETERANS to join our team of compassionate and dedicated volunteers!
Veteran volunteers serve to provide support, companionship, and a unique understanding to Veteran patients and their families. They offer a valuable connection, helping patients navigate their end-of-life journey with dignity and respect for their military service.

- Navigating Benefits & Resources
- Honor & Recognition
- Emotional Support
- Respite for Caregivers
Qualifications:
- Compassion and empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks or functions
- Ability to maintain and protect patients' confidentiality and right to privacy
- Meets all health requirements set by Interim HealthCare, if applicable
- Proof of valid driver’s license
- Completion of hospice volunteer training and orientation program (provided by hospice organization)
