Advanced Dog Walking is designated for those volunteers who have completed the Advanced Dog Handling class. You are free to walks dogs with an assessment color designation of Green, Blue, and Yellow. To walk dogs with an assessment color designation of Orange, you must complete a one on one with a member of the Behavior Team.
Advanced Dog Walkers can also participate in the Shy Dog Program and Potty Brigade.
To be able to respond to this opportunity you have to had gone through the Dog Handling online training, the Hands-on Dog Behavior in person class, at least one Dog Shadowing session, the Advanced Dog Handling Class and have had uploaded the correct certificates for each of these qualifications.
