- Work with Program Coordinator and other mentors one time per week for two hours to help student build and customize their bikes
- Provide specialty workshops for students, such as how to do custom body paint jobs, customize their leather seats, etc.
- Support the Program Coordinator with other preparations leading up to each after-school class
- Connect students with community events and competitions to showcase their bikes
- Develop long-term relationships with students that extend outside of the bike club after they have completed the program
- Be a community ambassador for the program and invite other community members to volunteer and mentor

Inclement Weather Plan: The program will only take place outside of Westgate Community Center on select days when students will be painting their bikes. If the weather does not permit painting, it will be rescheduled for the following week. | |
Mentors are expected to have their own transportation to and from the Westgate Community Center. | |
Mentors are encouraged to arrive at the Westgate Community Center a half hour before the class to help prepare for the students. |
