Hero's Path Palliative Care is hosting a small Friends and Family event on September 24, 2022 from 4-6pm at the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce.
Our Teen Council (mid and high school students) will be entertaining the children with fun outdoor art projects, active sport-based activities, and a magic show! The children we serve have medical complexity and disability, so we will also have nurses there to help with any medical needs. We are seeking adults who will help the teens keep the children engaged in these activities while their parents are at the same location relaxing and listening to speakers.
Please note that many of the families present have a child who is medically fragile. Because of this, we are asking that any volunteer working with the children be vaccinated against covid 19 and wear a mask around the children. Please do not come to the event if you have any signs of illness or think you may have been exposed to illness.
