International District Library is no longer able to store clothing or snacks for our patrons for the time being. However, we do have a Free Pantry located in our courtyard. It is an orange tower that is shared with our Free Library and snacks and non-perishable food items and can placed there. The branch is still accepting menstrual products and hygiene kit supplies to pass out in the library! We have two boxes with menstrual products out on our shelves for anyone to grab for free when they need- we restock them with donated materials. We only have a limited supply of of these, and would love to keep these very important and essential resources available for our community members!
Our needs are as follows (most needed items underlined):
-Tampons (super/heavy size preferred)
-Menstrual pads (super/overnight preferred)
-Hygiene kit materials
-Water bottles
-Coloring Books/Pages for Adults! :)
Feel free to come in during business hours to drop off donations at the front desk.
