This Thanksgiving, we have a wonderful opportunity to share compassion, comfort, and joy with those who need it most.
The Department of Health, Housing, and Homelessness is launching a Thanksgiving Pie Donation Drive to collect desserts for various programs within the Gateway System of Care; Gateway West, Gateway Family, and Gateway Recovery. Every pie donated whether apple, pumpkin, pecan, or sweet potato, is more than a sweet treat. It is a meaningful gesture that brings a sense of warmth and care to someone who may be facing challenges this holiday season. We would like for you to imagine the smiles, laughter, and gratitude that a simple pie can inspire. It’s a gift that goes far beyond the table.
Please drop off pies by Friday, November 21st at any Health and Social Service Center in Albuquerque, NM. Your generosity can help make Thanksgiving brighter and more hopeful for our neighbors by reminding them that they are not alone and that their community cares deeply. Let’s come together to make this holiday season one of connection, kindness, and shared joy. Every pie counts, and together, we can make a real difference in someone’s life this Thanksgiving.
Thank you!
