For over 40 years, the Public Lands Interpretive Association (PLIA) has sought to educate and inspire the users of America's public lands. Based in Albuquerque, we work with land agencies, recreationists, and stakeholders across New Mexico and Arizona to communicate current and helpful information about public lands and provide experiences that bring us closer to the lands we love.
What We Do
We provide educational and interpretive programs, ranging from helpful guides to public land rules, operating the New Mexico Public Lands Information Center, creating interpretive displays and information sheets for public land agencies, and selling maps, books, and other interpretive items in shops on public lands.
