Who We Are
We are a fundraiser managed by two high school seniors at La Cueva. We are partnered and in support of Centro Savila. Prajeeta Dahal Hi, I'm 17 years old and an upcoming senior at La Cueva High School. I've worked with Centro Savila before through their youth advocacy program, which inspired me to want to fundraise for the organization. I've been in DECA for four years and am going to be competing with this fundraising project at the DECA international competition this year! Anna Pearson I am a senior at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I participated in Centro Savila's 2023 Youth Legislative Advocacy Program which helped ignite my passion for the cause.
What We Do
Statement: Our mission is to unite our community through volleyball, raising $10,000 for Centro Savila to empower individuals in Albuquerque with mental and behavioral health services, while also supporting their basic needs and promoting overall mental well-being. Summary: We want to leverage the power of volleyball and community collaboration to raise $10,000 for Centro Savila, an Albuquerque-based organization dedicated to empowering individuals to obtain mental and behavioral health services, as well as other basic services. Through our Volleyball tournament and generous donations, we aim to provide the necessary resources and support for the clients of Centro Savila, encouraging them on their journey towards healing. As well as working to uplift the overall mental health of New Mexico. By harnessing the unique assets of our community, we aspire to create lasting change and cultivate a more equitable future.
