Who We Are
Tucked away in the middle of New Mexico you’ll find Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument. The three sites offer a glimpse into a unique time in history. A time entrenched with cultural borrowing, conflict, and struggles. The ruins stand as reminders of the Spanish and Pueblo People’s early encounters. Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument has four visitor centers, three of which are open during current winter hours. You may be asked to split your time between the sites dependent upon operational needs. Each visitor center has a workspace, bookstore, and small exhibit space.
What We Do
This volunteer position assists in staffing of three Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument Visitor Centers, including professionally representing the National Park Service by providing high-quality customer/visitor service. VIP may rove trails and grounds to assist park users with orientation, information, and interpretation of the park.
