Who We Are

We are a local organization whose mission is to bring together diverse peoples for conversation, connection and collaboration. We reach out to high schools and middle schools to provide historical videos on cross-racial friendships that have shaped our history. We also sponsor a Vibrant Community Art Contest for students to express how they want their community to look like in terms of racial equality, justice and inclusion.

Help us create opportunities for people of diverse cultures to connect, have conversations, eradicate racism towards people of color and immigrants. You want to take a stand for light and justice in these tremendously stressful times. We are who we are. We have always been beautiful, diverse people, and we always will be. Sometimes the opportunities for connection and support are hidden. Help us change that by volunteering in one of our Race Amity events.

What We Do

We host the annual Race Amity Festival in Albuquerque, NM on the 2nd Sunday in June. We invite small business to participate and we enjoy music, story-telling, food and the opportunity to engage in conversations with others we might not otherwise meet.

The next Festival will be on the second Sunday in June.  Right now we are in need of servers at our annual fall Fundraiser Dinner. Do you have a couple hours to serve?  That's fantastic! Please reach out and we will provide training and guidance for working at the Dinner at the Veterans Memorial Center.
