Who We Are
Vision Zero is a data-driven commitment to creating safer streets for everyone - whether we're walking, biking, driving or taking transit, and regardless of age or ability. It is used worldwide to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all. Visit the City's Vision Zero page for more information.
Traffic safety is an essential piece of our overall effort to improve public safety. In 2020, at least 77 people were killed while traveling around our city. That is 77 too many of our family members, children, friends, and neighbor. We can all take steps to improve safety on Albuquerque streets.
