Duke City Wheelmen

We are a small group of cyclists who want to see Albuquerque and all of New Mexico be the most bicycle friendly as it can be. Collectively, we have many years experience riding in NM and would like to see others share in the beauty and fun that cycling can bring.

Duke City Wheelmen is a bicycling advocacy organization. We teach safe cycling classes, organize non-competative bicycling events. The most visible thing we do is place ghost bikes when a cyclist has died, usually as a result of a crash with a motor vehicle. We also accept donations of bicycles, often passing them on to homeless people or others who cannot afford to buy a bicycle.
