SMPC Architects is an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based small business dedicated to improving the lives of others through innovative and sustainable design of the built environment. The firm has 30 full-time employees, including 17 licensed architects, 3 licensed interior designers, 6 LEED-Accredited Professionals and support staff.
In 2019, to commemorate 75 years in the business of architecture in New Mexico, the staff of SMPC committed to 75 charitable opportunities to give back to the community that has supported us for so long. Our activities included community engagement and educational outreach efforts; food, clothing and blood drives; social, environmental, animal humane and healthcare benefit activities; and national, regional, and municipal fundraisers that help improve the lives of others.We planted trees, cleaned up trails, picked up litter, supported the arts, social and cultural organizations.
As a firm, we maintain our commitment to community services, and endeavor to demonstrate stewardship of the environment, embrace and strengthen the community where we live and work, and offer help to those in need. We respect the importance of volunteering – the architects, designers and support staff of SMPC enjoys working together as a team to support our neighbors in our City, our County and our State.
SMPC has pledged our commitment to the Architecture Challenge 2030 an international program developed to rapidly transform the built environment from the major contributor of greenhouse gas emissions to a central solution to the climate crisis.
