Who We Are

The Refugee & Asylee Programs’ goal is to help refugees be resettled into a secure, stable environment on their way to self-sufficiency.  We cannot do our jobs without the support of volunteers.  A volunteer’s role is to support the staff and help them achieve this mission. Volunteer opportunities are available in Albuquerque, Colorado Springs, Denver, and Greeley.

What We Do

We focus on key objectives, such as meeting basic needs, improving English ability, helping refugees gain and maintain employment, gain practical, social and cultural life skills, as well as teaching financial literacy.

At LFSRM, we have a variety of ways you can volunteer to help refugees. Whether it be working closely with refugee families, office assistance, or participating in one of our programs, we offer an array of opportunities suited to your specific preferences.
