Family Storytime families
A program for children of all ages, featuring books, puppets, music, movement, science activities, movies and/or crafts to encourage early literacy skills. School groups looking to attend a library storytime? Please call (505)764-1742 or speak to a librarian to schedule a special class storytime and tour!
DUPLO Club for Preschoolers families
Drop in to build with LEGO DUPLOs! This innovative toy from the makers of LEGO encourages younger children to develop their creativity, problem-solving ability and fine motor skills. All blocks are provided! Please bring a camera to remember the creations, as the blocks live at the library and cannot be taken home. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
ABQ-Bernco Seed Library all ages
The goal of the ABQ-Bernco Seed Library is to encourage home gardening. Anyone with a Public Library card may check out up to 15 packets of seeds per season (a total of 30 packets each year). We also offer free monthly garden-related programs to foster all levels of gardeners through growing, harvesting, and seed saving — all within our unique high desert environment.
Movie Day all ages
Join us in the Children's Room each month for a family friendly movie.
LEGO Club ages 4 - 14
Join us the last Tuesday of the month for LEGO Club. The library will provide LEGOs to use in the branch, just bring your imagination.
Perler Beads All Ages
Join us on the second Friday of the month from 3 – 5 p.m. for tons of fun! Create with the theme or go your own way! You can create and take home with you a small perler bead sprite. People of all ages are welcome but keep in mind we are working with small beads.
