Early Literacy  Early Literacy Station

Baby/Toddler Storytime     0-3 years
Wednesdays, 11:15 a.m. – noon. Join us every Wednesday for an interactive storytime with your young one that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays, and body movements.

Building Club    5-10 years​
3rd Friday of the month, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Love Lego but want a new challenge? Try out our other building sets such as K’Nex, Brain Flakes and Tinkertoys. Your creations will be displayed in the library.

Creative Writing Group    Adults
4th Wednesday of the month, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Join our creative writing group and be inspired! Each month we’ll do some writing & learn about things that make a good story. Beginners & experienced writers welcome. Adults

Lego Club    Ages 5+
2nd and 4th Friday of the month, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Come build with your friends! LEGO blocks provided.

Magical Mystery Tour Book Club    Adults
4th Saturday of the month, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Travel the world and solve mysteries with us. Visit abqlibrary.org/sanpedro or call 256-2067 for the reading list. Adults.

New Mexico Stories: Storytime for Adults
3rd Saturday of the month, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Relax, listen, knit, or doodle then discuss stories about the people and places that make New Mexico enchanted. Call 256-2067 for more information.

1:1 Basic Tech Help    Adults
Get one-on-one help with using the Internet, email, or Microsoft Word; downloading eBooks, magazines, music, and working with tablets or smartphones. Computer assistance available in Spanish. Participants must have a library card in good standing. Call 256-2067 to schedule an appointment.

1:1 Genealogy    Adults
Meet one-on-one with a librarian to explore your family tree. A library card with computer access is required. Registration required.

1:1 House History Consultation    Adults
Come in for a one-on-one consultation on discovering the history of your house or other building. Get an introduction to the library’s online resources, databases and maps that may be useful in your search. A library card with computer access is required. Registration required.

San Pedro Bead & String Club    Adults
1st Saturday of the month, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tools, beads, pads, and findings are provided. You may also bring your own beads to use or projects to share.
