What We Do
Meeting Rooms
The Main Library has a large community room that holds 200+ people, two small conference rooms that each hold 15 people, and an auditorium that holds 200+ people. Policy, rules and required forms for using the meeting room may be found at Meeting and Study Rooms as well as a list of meeting rooms at other branches.

Study Rooms
The Main Library has five study rooms that will hold a maximum of four people each. The study rooms may used for no more than two hours per person/group a day. Check in at the information desk with your library card to gain access to the study rooms.

Baby and Toddler Storytime families
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movement. Weekly Baby and Toddler Storytime is targeted for ages 0 - 3.
See You on Saturday! families
Join us on the second Saturdays of every month from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. for fun, interactive family activities. This program is open to families with children ages 3-18. For more information, please contact the Main Library Youth Room at 768-5136.
Genealogy Research Day adults
On the last Tuesday of every month, join members of the Albuquerque Genealogical Society and Library staff for individual assistance with your family history research. Whether you are just starting your or have hit a roadblock with your research, you’ll get plenty of support to move your family history search forward. Please bring your family charts and any other relevant information that could help your search.
Read to the Dogs children
Reading to appreciative and non-judgmental furry friends helps to increase kids' confidence and joy of reading. See more information about Read to the Dogs.
Walk-in Computer Help adults
Get computer help every Wednesday at 11 a.m. and every Thursday at 3 p.m. Stop by for tips, problem-solving, and instruction on: internet, email, resume writing, job searches, basic computer skills, Microsoft Word basics, and library eResources. No registration required. Participants must have a library card in good standing.
Friends of the Library Book Sale all ages
On the second Saturday of every month, stop by to browse and shop the latest selection of books from the Friends of the Library.
